LeeSar Opens New 200,000 Sq Ft Facility

TSH congratulates LeeSar on the grand opening of their new facility The TSH Team worked closely with LeeSar to assist in moving Inventory and Operations to the new facility with no disruption in service.  TSH President Sy Fertig visits the LeeSar Site Currently LeeSar provides services in the following areas by utilizing the MDS System from TSH: Surgical Pack Operation Pharmaceutical Repackaging Low Unit of Measure supply services Instrument Repair Courier Service EMS Packs & supplies Records Retention and Management LeeSar Regional Service Center The new facility will enable LeeSar  to expand the above services and will provide space for Sterile Processing with 40,780 sq. feet and Cook ‘n Chill services with 38,750 sq. feet that will service the Lee Memorial Health System. Cross Docking? - What the heck is cross docking?

Order Items for specific customers and cross dock to save time and warehouse space  Cross-docking  is a practice in  logistics  of unloading materials from an incoming  semi-trailer truck  or  railroad car  and loading these materials directly into outbound trucks, trailers, or rail cars, with little or no storage in between. This may be done to change type of conveyance, to sort material intended for different destinations, or to combine material from different origins into transport vehicles (or containers) with the same, or similar destination.
