Most of us might think, that is the other guy's problem. But as a member of the supply chain it's important to remember that getting paid properly is a pretty important item. To that end this week we are advising customers to start taking advantage of existing options in the MDS system to help combat fraud.  Once such option is our bank positive pay subsystem. What is Positive Pay? Positive Pay is an automated fraud detection tool offered by the Cash Management Department of most banks. In its simplest form, it is a service that matches the account number, check number and dollar amount of each check presented for payment against a list of checks previously authorized and issued by the company.
